Via the Residential Landlord Association
If you are using The Tenancy Deposit Scheme for Landlords via the Residential Landlords Association then there is no joining fee and you simply pay for the tenancies you protect. These preferential rates are only available whilst you are a paid up member of the RLA.

Direct with TDS
If you are using The Tenancy Deposit Scheme for Landlords directly with TDS, then there is no joining fee and you simply pay for the tenancies you protect. The cost per tenancy agreement is;

The Tenancy Deposit Scheme for Unipol Accredited Landlords
The cost per deposit registered is £14 plus VAT, per twelve month period and you can make changes during this period for no additional charge.
At the end of the twelve month protection period, you must renew the protection of the deposit if the tenancy continues or else the protection will cease.
