How to join the Scheme

Membership of a tenancy deposit scheme is a legal requirement for all landlords and agents who take a deposit for Assured Shorthold Tenancies. New tenancies must be registered at their start and end. To become a member of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme please download and complete the relevant application form. (click on AGENTS or LANDLORDS in the right hand column, or download from the Documents and forms page. NB these forms can be filled in on your computer, saved and printed out using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader, download your FREE Acrobat Reader here).

Membership requires adherence to specific Scheme Rules. Download a copy (see right hand column).
